First stop: scheduled tour to the Basílica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, which is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Latin America and visited by several million people every year. Second stop: the breathtaking archaeological site of Teotihuacán (Nahuatl name meaning “City of the Gods” or “Place where the Gods were made”); lunch included. Back to Mexico City for free time to explore Mexico City´s most important avenue: Reforma. It is home to two of Mexico’s landmarks The Angel of Independence and the Huntress Fountain. Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the amazing Palace of Fine Arts (Palacio de Bellas Artes, declared in 1987, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO) to enjoy the Folkloric Ballet of Mexico show. It is Mexico City’s most important performance venue. Continue with the visit to the Water Canals of Xochimilco with a ride on the traditional colorful gondola style boats called “Trajineras”. Lunch included. Our next stop is the traditional neighborhood of Coyoacán to admire the bright-blue Frida Kahlo´s Museum showcasing her life and work. Back to the Hotel in Mexico City. Dinner on your own.

Visit to the Angangueo and Rosario Sanctuary to enjoy watching the sensational migration of Monarch Butterflies, one of the most interesting and photographic events that occurs every year in the Oyamel forest. Trip to the city of Morelia, the headquarters of one of the most important film festivals in the world. Lunch in a traditional restaurant next to the Cathedral. Free time to enjoy the city and enjoy “Gazpacho” dessert. Dinner on your own. Lodging in Morelia.
Breakfast at the hotel. Tram tour to discover Morelia´s historic streets and enjoy the best of Colonial Spanish architecture and urban planning. The tour continues with a walk to learn the details of historical sites and figures, as well as a visit to the Candy Museum where you can buy one of the many varieties of their exquisite and traditional “ate” (quince jelly). Lunch included. Free time. Dinner on your own. Lodging in Morelia.
Breakfast at the hotel. Round trip to the mythical Pátzcuaro lake where we will take a boat to Janitzio island. There we will visit the José María Morelos y Pavón Monument which is over 147 feet tall. Back in the magical village of Pátzcuaro, you´ll learn why it is one of Michoacán’s main sites, famous for their celebration of “Día de los muertos”. Lunch included at a restaurant, where they cook the best “Corundas” in the region. Back to Mexico City. Lodging in Mexico City. Dinner on your own.
Breakfast at the hotel. Bus tour to Morelos where we will visit the Magical Village “Pueblo Mágico” of Tepoztlán, built on the hillside of Cerro del Tepozteco. From there, we will go to Cuernavaca, nicknamed “The city of Eternal Spring”. Lunch included. Afterwards, we will go to the Robert Brady Museum, where we can appreciate the art and collections of this important painter. Dinner on your own. Lodging in Cuernavaca.
Breakfast at the hotel. A walking visit to the amazing Grutas de Cacahuamilpa Caverns (the walk is about two miles long), where we can admire the rock formations. These Caverns are one of the largest cave systems in the world. From there, we´ll visit the most important mining town: Taxco, is famous for its silver jewelry production and Spanish architecture. You can enjoy its famous silver markets and the extraordinary baroque style of the Santa Prisca´s Church. Lunch on your own. After the meal, we´ll head to a recently discovered Pre-Hispanic mine. Dinner and lodging included in Taxco.
Breakfast at the hotel. Last chance for silver jewelry, craftwork or food shopping. Bus back to Mexico City where a special Farewell lunch will be served in a restaurant with the best view of downtown Mexico City. Free time. Dinner on your own. Lodging in Mexico City.
